  1. Separate identities The 19 fixed BeeComps products keep distinct plugin identities, stamped state, and shared family controls.

  2. Fixed ratio/range law Each fixed model or topology exposes only supported ratio, envelope, transfer, and range behavior.

  3. Shared control grammar Input, mix, output, threshold, timing, makeup, ratio or range, and main/side path controls stay familiar across the family.

  4. Threshold/Ratio/Range Custom exposes curve controls, Clip hides ratio and envelope, and Gate or Xpand expose range dynamics.

  5. Threshold chip Threshold is drawn as the host parameter value rather than as a metering guess.

  6. Ratio or range Ratio products show compression amount; gate and expander products show range behavior instead.

  7. Makeup chip Makeup or mix is shown as the post-action gain decision for products that expose it.

  8. Gain connector The gain connector ties makeup to threshold so the graph reads as one parameter surface.

  9. Transfer truth The graph changes by product identity: compressor, clipper, gate, and expander surfaces do not pretend to be the same law.

  10. Range floor Range products expose the maximum attenuation floor instead of ratio behavior.
